Acceptance of Terms

By using Island Anchor, including SMS interactions with our service number, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Service Description

Island Anchor enables participating businesses to publish and maintain business hours and local event information, including updates submitted through approved SMS senders.

SMS Program Terms

• Program name: Island Anchor Business Updates. This program sends operational SMS messages to approved business profile updaters.
• Opt-in methods: texting START (or another approved opt-in keyword) to the Island Anchor messaging number, or initiating SMS to request profile updates.
• Message frequency varies based on your requests and confirmations.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
• SMS consent is not a condition of purchase.

SMS Keywords and Automatic Responses

• START or YES: opt in / re-subscribe to messages.
• STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE: opt out of messages.
• HELP: receive usage and support instructions.

Standard automated responses include confirmation for opt-in, confirmation for opt-out, and a help response with support contact details.

SMS Consent and Data Use

SMS opt-in and phone consent information is used only to provide Island Anchor operational messaging. This consent and mobile information is not shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, lead-generation, or third-party analytics purposes.

User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and lawful update requests.
• Do not attempt unauthorized access or abusive use of the platform.
• Maintain control of approved sender phone numbers for business updates.

Content and Updates

We may process and publish submitted business updates. We may refuse or remove content that is inaccurate, unlawful, or harmful to service integrity.

Availability

Service availability is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and may be interrupted by maintenance, provider outages, or technical limits.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Island Anchor is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
