- To authenticate approved updater numbers.

- To prevent unauthorized updates and abuse.
SMS Consent
Users opt in by texting START (or another approved opt-in keyword) to the
Island Anchor SMS number, or by directly initiating an SMS conversation to request
business profile updates. Message frequency varies based on user actions and update
requests. Message and data rates may apply.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase. To stop messages, reply
STOP. For assistance, reply HELP.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate this service (for example, SMS delivery providers and hosting/network services). SMS opt-in and phone consent data is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
